 Equipment Fund

 Over $100,000 raised!

THE BCMMAG IS AN INDUSTRY-LED INITIATIVE AIMING TO BRIDGE THE SKILLS GAP IN METAL MANUFACTURING.

Inspiration. Education. Opportunity.

The British Columbia Metal Manufacturing Advisory Group (BCMMAG) is comprised of local leaders in manufacturing, machine tool distribution and education, who in partnership with the Construction Foundation of BC, are finding ways to inspire and educate students about CNC machining through initiatives in secondary schools. Our goals are to increase participation in the CNC machining trades and reduce the skills gap in manufacturing, BC’s 4th largest sector as a percentage of GDP.

Sustainable success requires good partners. The BCMMAG is bringing together the Construction Foundation of BC, Haas Technical Education Center (HTEC) Network, Gene Haas Foundation, British Columbia Institute of Technology, Autodesk (Fusion360) and it’s authorized Canadian reseller – LeeVerage Integration, a trailblazing representative from the BC Technology Education Association, and manufacturers from the Lower Mainland, Prince George area and Vancouver Island.

How to Get Involved.

The BCMMAG provides multiple supports to educators and students across the province.  From educator training and equipment grants to bursaries and scholarships for students, we are here to help introduce students to the high-tech careers in machining.
